The King Charles Cavalier Spaniel "Fairy, Lady Bulmer's Favorite Spaniel engraving by Alfred Lucas (English mid 19th century) titled "Fairy" after the painting by Sir Edwin Henry Landseer (English 1802 - 1873). From the painting exhibited by Landseer at the Royal Academy 1835. A mixed method stipple engraving etching published 1849. The engraving can be seen in the collection of the British Museum, and it is further catalogued in Algernon Graves, Catalogue of the Works of the late Sir Edwin Landseer, R.A., London, Henry Graves & Co, 1874. Another version of this painting drawn on stone and printed by Thomas Fairland can be seen in the British Museum Collection. An adaption of the depiction of Dash, Queen Victoria's beloved cavalier from Sir Edwin Landseer's 1837-1838 famous painting "His majesty's favourite dogs and parrot", also known as "Hector, Nero and Dash with with the parrot, Lory", can be seen in the Royal Collection. 14 ) "Fire worshippers" by Herbert Thomas Dicksee (1862-1942)
Known as "Fire worshippers", watercolour of a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and an Irish Wolfhound by Herbert Thomas Dicksee R.E (1862-1942). The finished study for his 1899 engraving of the same name "Fire Worshippers" exhibited at the Royal Academy. It was first published, 1899, by printsellers C E Clifford & Co., of 200 Piccadilly, later of 21 Haymarket. Frost and Reed further published the work in 1906. There is an example of the etching in the National Trust property, Tyntesfield, North Somerset.

After a painting by Sir Edwin Landseer RA (1802-1873) given to the Princess on her birthday 24th May 1836. Perhaps by William Bishop Ford (1832-1922) who enamelled this subject on copper and gold, but was also work in 1855 for Herbert Minton of Stoke on Trent enamelling on porcelain.
