Titled in pencil 'Field Trial Champion Mary Blue .... Norias Roy' signed and dated 'Bert Cobb'. American, circa 190. Bears label to the reverse: 'Sutter Buttes WildLife Gallery 224 C St., Yuba City, Ca 95991' ?Mary Blue? was a famous liver and white bitch whelped 4th May 1923, and was the National Field Champion for 1929 and 1931, and the National Free-For-All Championship for 1930 Walter Clark Teagle's 'Norias Roy' was a famous liver and white dog who was the National Free-For-All Championship for 1930, and who won the Continental trials in January, 1933. Walter Clark Teagle (May 1878 - January 9, 1962), was responsible for leading Standard Oil to the forefront of the oil industry and significantly expanding the company's presence in the petrochemical field. He owned the famous Norias Kennels.
