A Greyhound running at full stretch, silver set with old cut diamonds of various sizes, gold backed and natural cabochon cut ruby eye. The Greyhound’s legs, tail, upper and lower body with chased detail. Victorian, English, circa 1880. In later box when retailed during King George V reign by Garrard & Co in . The lid of the box reads “Garrard & Co Ltd Goldsmith, Jewellers & c TO THE KING By Special Appointment TO THE CROWN 24, ALBEMARLE ST., W.” The box imbossed in gold “Garrard”. SOLD
