A pair micromosaic in black vitreous paste earrings depicting seated King Charles Cavalier ‘Blenheim’ Spaniels. Italian circa 1860. The King Charles Cavalier Spaniel was a popular micromosaic subject following the works by such artists as Antonio Aguatti (d1846) and Luigi Moglia (1813ca - 1878).
