The Poodle "Widmore Jane", oil by Ferdinand Sinet (French, 1862 – 1947)
An oil on canvas of a head and shoulders study of the white Poodle "Widmore Jane" wearing a red bow by Ferdinand Sinet (French, 1862 – 1947). Signed bottom left "F, Sinet". Ferdinand Sinet is recorded as having exhibited one picture at the Royal Academy, London, in 1907. A typed label on the reverse of the frame dates the picture to 1910. French, circa 1910.
