K.C. was owned by Lionel Walter Alfred Osborne and named after Kent College Canterbury, the school attended by Osborne. The artist Lionel Osborne was Lionel Walter Alfred Osborne father. Provenance by descent from Thomas Osborne. Signed bottom left “L Osborne†and dated “42â€. English 1942.
