The coach wearing the correct Royal Mail livery, black with red door and lower panels, Post Office red wheels, and The Royal Coat of Arms on the door with the name of the town at the end of the coach's route “Stroud Londonâ€. Signed with discreet monogram on a passing rock "CH". "R. and A. Ackermann†label to the reverse. Cooper Henderson had a long association with Ackermann. English, circa 1850. Provenance: . "R. and A.
