An artist proof limited edition lithograph of just 240, after Xavier de Poret (French, 1894 - 1975) . Signed in pencil bottom right “Xavier d’Poret”.

This was the Hermes scarf design first issued in 1956 and called “Les Levriers”, Greyhounds. It is said that when Mrs Peggy Stancomb of Tinribs Whippets was living in Paris she bought most of the scarves as presents! French, circa 1960.
