19th century oval ivory miniature of young lady in a fine silk hat and dress with ruffles. In gilt hand made oval pendent frame behind convex glass. Card to reverse bears frame makers name “Aug. Walker Miniature Frame Maker, 118, New Bond Street, London, W.”. Unsigned. English, circa 1900.


Aug. Walker (occasionally as Augustus Walker) were at 118 New Bond St from 1897-1922, trading as Walker’s Galleries by 1908, then Walker’s Galleries Ltd by 1928-1962.
