Magnificent pair of enamel and soft paste Sèvres/Sevres porcelain hunting vases A magnificent pair of early 19th century, Sèvres, enamel and soft paste porcelain hunting vases. The bases with seated Borzoi and Foxhounds in soft paste porcelain, the bodies polychromed with horseback and dog hunting scenes in tree adorned landscape. Stag and boar heads in soft paste porcelain applied to distinctive 'bleu celeste' border. Marked to the base with the Sèvres 'intertwined' double 'L', inset with an ‘M’, and the painter’s mark ‘277’. French, circa 1830. This is a SOLD item and has been left in the Public Domain for research purposes.
