A dry-point etching, "Let’s Play", a Scottish Terrier looks up at another in an open window by Marguerite Kirmse (English, 1885 -1954). Published Spring,, 1930. In pencil, titled bottom left "Let’s Play" and signed bottom right "Marguerite Kirmse". The reverse “Harlow, McDonald & Co Successors to Arthur H . Harlow & Co. 667 Fifth Avenue New York” label. With pencilled inventory number “28608”. American, 1930.


Harlow, McDonald & Co. famously produced catalogues of “etchings and engravings by old and modern masters, English and American sporting prints, Currier & Ives, early American views, colored mezzotints, portraits”.
