A watercolour of head studies of a Ruby, Blenheim, and Black/White King Charles Spaniel by Vera Cave (English, fl 1930) after a work by Carl Reichert (Austria, 1836-1918). Signed bottom right “Vera Cave”. The reverse bears artist’s inscription “ Water – Colour BY Vera Cave 28, Edenvale Ave. Bispham. Blackpool” with further inscription “Painting owned by R Collins”. English, circa 1930.
Vera Cave’s work can be seen in the Grundy Art Gallery, Blackpool and she exhibited at the Royal Academy.
