Jadin was a French painter specializing in animals and landscapes, he was especially known for having painted the hunts of Napoleon III and the dogs of the high society of the Second Empire, he exhibited at the Paris Salon, where he won many prizes, was a close friend of the Alexandre Dumas, and was awarded the Légion d'honneur in 1854. .
