19th century, Barbet / Old English Sheepdog oil by Mlle Louise Coralie Ferey (French, 1814-1892) A mid-19th century oil on canvas of three dogs, Barbet / Old English Sheepdogs, black Setter and terrier by Mlle Louise Coralie Ferey (French, 1814-1892). The dogs are set amongst ferns by water, with a Tortoiseshell butterfly at the recumbent terrier feet. Signed, in red, bottom left “Coralie Fereyâ€. French, circa 1862.
