The central sconce arm in the form of a French hunting horn, with the outer sconce arms applied with oak leaf and acorn design. Marked to the reverse “MATIE?â€. French, 1895.
The 18th century master founder Jean Joseph de Saint-German (French, 1719-1791) cast a similar oak leaf and acorn design, circa 1750, but with boar and deer.
