French Bulldog "Peter" by Gertrude Massey (1868-1957)

Massey was allowed by King Edward VII to produce two miniatures of his favourite dog, which is well documented in her Autobiography "Kings Commoners and Me". English, circa 1905. Set within original gilt-metal frame with pierced ribbon crest. Provenance by family descent.
