Briard Etching by Leon Danchin (French, 1887-1939) Coloured lithograph of a head study of pair of Briards by Leon Danchin (French, 1887-1938). Limited to 300 impressions and published by Devambez et Associ's of 43 boulevard Malesherbes, Paris. Danchin entrusted Edouard Devambez and his partner Georges Weil to publish his work from 1925 to 1932, with the lithographs usually limited from 300 to 400 editions. Signed in pencil "Leon Danchin" and numbered "92/300". Once the required number of prints was reached, the copper plate was scratched and discarded. This is a SOLD item and has been left in the Public Domain for research purposer.
