Large reverse intaglio crystal King Charles Cavalier, set as a crystal box lid. The lid and box gold rimmed and cabochon cut sapphire gold set clasp. Rock crystal and gold with a sapphire on the opening button. The top is a reverse intaglio crystal.
Reverse intaglio crystals are commonly and erroneously often called Essex Crystals.
