Gordon Setters on a rocky hill-top, approaching a group of birds sheltering under a rock in the foreground at left, a bird of prey in the sky at right and mountains behind engraved by Thomas Landseer ARA (1795-1880) after the painting by Sir Edwin Landseer RA(1802-1873) Signed in pencil by 'Thos Landseer' bottom right, bottom left Printseller's Association blind-stamp (L.2050), lettered UKU. Etching, engraving and stipple on chine coll, published by Thomas Agnew & Sons in 1874. Lettered above image with publication line: "Published April 10th. 1874 by Messrs. Thos. Agnew & Sons, 5 Waterloo Place, Pall Mall, London - Copyright Registered." Another example can be found in the collection of the British Museum.
