Flagon of Ardagh was from the famous kennels of Mr H E Witwell, Haughton-le-Skerne, Co. Durham whose other winning dogs included "Ch. Fleet of Ardagh" and "Int. Ch. Felicity of Ardagh". Mr & Mrs H.E.Whitwell's 'Ardagh' Kennels were also known for their Irish Setters & English Setters. English, 1932.
