Not dissimilar to the West Highland Terrier was owned by Jacob Bell that was famously painted 1839, known as "Dignity and Impudence" by Sir Edwin Landseer, (today in the collection of the Tate Gallery, London).
Reverse intaglio crystals are commonly and erroneously often called Essex Crystals.
