Pradier (English 1881-1967) A mid 20th century 9 carat gold reverse intaglio square mother of pearl backed crystal of a Cocker Spaniel pendant by Ernest.M. Pradier (English 1881-1967). Privately commissioned from Pradier as the ‘crystal’ 15th wedding anniversary present from Reginald Arthur Nelsey to his wife Flora Lilian Nelsey (nee Seymour) in 1948. The Pradier family originated in Belgium and were perhaps the most skilled exponents of this art supplying fashionable jewellery across the world.
