The drawing is illustrated, as a woodblock, ‘Fig.89’ page 132 in “The Works of Sir Edwin Landseer” by W. Comos Monkhouse titled “In The Warren (1824)”. The author refers to the dogs as ‘English terriers’. The reverse bears label for Watling Street Galleries. English, 1824.
