Signed at the bottom “VHâ€. In gilt pendant / easel backed frame, behind convex glass. The reverse reads “'Trudi' Vera Haslam R.M.S 1975/ Exhibited Royal Society of Miniature Painters London, 1975". A card inserted to the reverse reads "6. ‘TRUDI’ MRS VERA HASLAM ? ST ANTONY’S RD. BOURNEMOUTH N.F.S". As this miniature was not for sale it is possibly the artist’s own West Highland Terrier.
