Diamond Sealyham chasing rat brooch A pave set diamond and platinum brooch of a Sealyham running chasing a rat. Cabochon cut ruby eyes and chased detail to both dog and rat. English circa 1910.
In gilt tooled leather box when later retailed during Edward VII reign by Goldsmith & Silversmiths. The lid of the box reads "BY APPOINTMENT TO HM. THE KING. THE Goldsmith & Silversmiths Company Lᵗᵈ., 112, REGENT Sᵗ., LONDON, W."

From a series of breeds by the Birmingham maker that included, Setter, Sealyham, Scottish Terrier, Wire-haired Fox Terrier, and Airedale. Each clearly modelled from a show Champion of the 1920s.
